​Training for Beginners: Powder Brow

$3199 +GST

Currently only taking students on a private one on one basis. Please allow 4-8+ weeks notice to reserve training dates. Non-refundable deposit of $750 +gst is required in order to reserve your kit and training dates. The remaining portion of tuition is due at least one full week before scheduled class start date.

​Begin your journey into permanent makeup with the most versatile technique to suit every client- Powder Brows! This comprehensive course offers full lifetime permanent makeup support and online content access, full student kit valued $500 including a machine, power supply, case, manual, zensa numbing cream, all single use disposable items needed to get you started.

*Kit does not include inks, this is for a very specific reason to be discussed in class.*

No previous experience required however, a background in either esthetics or makeup artistry is highly recommended. 

5 full in class days (40+ hours). Dates can be scheduled consecutively or following a weekly/ bi-weekly basis.

Student will provide and complete 2 in-class models. $52.50 model fee each.

Permanent Makeup: Powder Brows Certificate upon successful completion and attendance of full course hours.

*Abby does reserve the right to withhold certificate or request more supervised models if required for best success of the student.

Class Overview

​

Day 1 (9:00am-5:00pm) 

Introductions, students will learn about safe work practices, skin study, and sterile machine set-up. Needle configurations, alternate eyebrow tattooing techniques.

After lunch we practice tattooing on latex skin, oranges, bananas and tomatoes. 

​

Day 2 (9:00am-5:00pm)

Skin tones, Fitzpatrick Scale & color theory. Students will understand how to determine a client's undertone to appropriately choose a pigment color.

Facial structures and brow design. Students will learn how to determine the best eyebrow shape for your client based on their face & eye shape, preferences and our professional guidelines.

Day 3 (9:00am-5:00pm)

Abby will demonstrate a full new powder brow procedure start to finish. Complete recap with question & answer period. 

​

Day 4 (9:00am-5:00pm)

Students will perform a mock procedure on 'fake skin' head with the proper machine and sterile set-up. 

First student model will arrive at 1:00pm.

Day 5 (9:00am-5:00pm)

Consultation confidence and basic branding, social media & tips for establishing a clientele.

Final student model will arrive at 1:00pm.

Private 1-on-1 Training for Experienced Students

$1250 +

For individuals who already have beginner- intermediate experience with permanent makeup or tattooing looking to refine or advance their skills with eyebrow, lip and/or eyeliner tattooing. Sessions will be customized to best serve you & that which you wish to improve. Permanent makeup manual and certificate included upon successful completion.
