Permanent Makeup Level 1 - Powder Brows

Learn the hottest beauty trend - Powder Brows through a 40 hour comprehensive part time course with a top permanent makeup artist in our area!
No previous experience required however, a background in either esthetics or makeup artistry is recommended. Class sizes are very small, with a maximum of 2-3 students to ensure plenty of one-on-one learning.
A student kit valued over $650 is provided including a machine, manual and single-use disposable accessories needed to successfully start on your permanent makeup journey. Each student will provide and complete 2 in-class models.

*It is highly recommended that your model does NOT have previous eyebrow tattooing or microblading*
Preferably aged 25-60 years old.

Class Schedule - Dates to be confirmed* - OCTOBER 2022
Day 1 (9:00am-5:00pm)
Introductions, students will learn about safe work practices, skin study, and sterile machine set-up. After lunch, we get practicing tattooing on latex skin, oranges & bananas.
Day 2 (5:30pm-9:00pm)
Facial structures and brow design. Students will learn how to determine the best eyebrow shape for your client based on their face & eye shape, preferences and our professional guidelines.
Day 3 (9:00am-5:00pm)
Full powder brow demonstration by Abby followed by students performing a mock procedure on 'fake skin' heads with the proper machine and sterile set-up.
Day 4 (5:30pm-9:00pm)
Needle configuration techniques as well as proper skin stretching.
Day 5 (9:00am-5:00pm)
Abby will demonstrate a full touch up procedure for students to observe. First student models will arrive at 1:00pm.
Day 6 (5:30pm-9:00pm)
Pigment theory. Students will first hand get to experiment with different inks to view consistencies & undertones within each colour to better understand appropriate pigment selection through lab demonstration.
Day 7 (9:00am-5:00pm)
Consultation confidence and basic branding, social media & tips for establishing a clientele. Certificates and group photo. Final student models will arrive at 1:00pm.
