Make-up, skin care and the beauty industry have always been a huge passion and part of Abby's life as she grew up with the influence of a very talented journeyman hairstylist mother. A year after high school, she graduated from the Academy of Professional Hair Design in historic downtown Red Deer (now Delmar College) as a fully licensed professional Esthetician in September of 2016.

The following Fall, Abby took on cosmetic & paramedical tattoo studies beginning at BioTouch Micropigmentation in Vancouver, Canada. Abby now holds over 15 certifications internationally for permanent makeup alone, having studied with some of the very best in the industry. 

​

In 2019, Abby expanded her training into medical esthetics in both Calgary and Edmonton to further pursue her passion in skin studies becoming a Master Esthetician. Continuing and upgrading education on a regular basis has always been extremely important to offering the most up to date techniques and knowledge for her clients and students.

 

In July of 2019, Permanent Cosmetics by Abby was born, offering modern cosmetic tattooing, clinical skin care treatments and products.

Instructing became a huge part of Abby's career in 2020 teaching her first class of 10 Professional Esthetics students at Delmar College and has continued to help out instructing when needed. Permanent makeup and clinical skin treatment classes are now offered privately with Abby directly at Studio 201 Co, see training page for more details!

Studio 201 Co was created by Abby and Karlee in November 2022 as a collective space for like minded beauty individuals to create a luxury experience for our clients. We welcome you to our beautiful space!

Having previously struggled with limited natural eyebrows, acne and various skin complications in her youth, Abby has a deeper understanding and has found much success in a medical, holistic and artistic approach to help her clients & their skin on the path to healing & youthfulness.
