A detailed consent form must be signed on day of before proceeding with any permanent makeup procedure.
$105 non-refundable deposit is required upon booking the full procedure appointment. *If you must cancel or reschedule your procedure, ONE WEEK notice from the set appointment time must be given in order for the $100 (+GST) non-refundable deposit to transfer onto another time slot - one time only. To further reschedule within any time frame, a new non-refundable deposit must be paid in order to reserve another time slot. If you are 15 minutes late or longer, your appointment will automatically be cancelled and will require a new deposit in order to rebook. Unfortunately I am unable to accommodate exceptions, thank you so much for understanding.
Initial Follow-up Procedure: This is booked at the end of your initial procedure appointment 6-10 weeks out; necessary for complete results. Please note, initial touch-up appointments must be done within 90 days from the first procedure in order for it to be included in the original cost. If you must reschedule your touch-up appointment, a $50+ (+GST) rebooking fee will apply as I can only reserve touch-up time free once.

Clients with previous work from another artist will be considered a new set. It is unfortunately no less time or ease for me! Working over top of previous ink (no matter how old) and existing shape more often requires more experience/consideration.

**Your powder brows MUST be at least 30-50% faded before booking a colour boost in order for the procedure to be worthwhile for you; I must turn away if they are not yet faded enough to do so**

How Long do they Last?

You can expect your powder brows to last anywhere from 1-3 years+ before needing a colour boost.

Everyone's skin is unique and will metabolize the pigment differently. Every client will find their comfort zone in how often they wish to maintenance them. The softer the eyebrow, it is closer to 1-2 years expectancy. Bolder eyebrows will last longer 2-3+ years. However, it is best to build density over time when it comes to permanent makeup. Colour boost procedures can be booked every 1-3+ years as long as they are at least 30-50% faded from the last touch-up in order for it to be worthwhile.

*Brows must be 30-50% faded or I must turn away for colour boosts. As a professional, I must protect the integrity of your skin. Ink below the surface unfortunately will never fully replicate makeup applied on top of skin or your eyebrow hairs. Eyebrows may be low; not no maintenance.

Is the Procedure Painful?

Most clients find the eyebrow procedure to be fairly comfortable during the tattooing. I use a topical anesthetic (Zensa - 5% Lidocaine) beforehand, and an 'open skin' anesthetic throughout the procedure. Brows may be sore 24-48 hours post procedure.

What is the Healing Process?

The initial healing process is typically 7-14 days. During this time, you will experience 'Brow Shock'. Eyebrows will be dry, dark and more bold until your skin naturally sheds the top layer. You will be left with a softer and lighter end result. Depending on the level of 'crusting' during the first week of healing, one may experience patchiness for up to 6 weeks as the ink stabilizes through a full skin cellular turnover.

Aftercare instructions are to be followed to the very best of your ability in order to protect your investment. Skin can be a difficult medium, best results will depend greatly on your continued home and aftercare.

An initial touch-up appointment is booked 6-10 weeks after the full appointment to perfect your eyebrows.

What if I have Previous Eyebrow Tattooing or Microblading?

If you have had previous eyebrow tattooing or microblading, please make sure it is clearly visible during our consultation. You can come with makeup on, just be aware I will need to remove it in order to determine if a cover-up procedure will be successful with my techniques or if I must recommend removal first (not offered in studio). Working with previous inks and shapes can be challenging; may require more work and consideration.

Permanent eyeliner is not meant to completely fade out over time. This procedure is considered permanent, however as with all inks, it will fade to a certain degree over time and may need to be touched-up in a few years to refresh the look. Everyone will metabolize pigments very uniquely. It is impossible to predict when a touch up is necessary for eyeliner procedures as it may be subjective.

Is the Procedure Painful?

This particular procedure is more intense than eyebrows. Numbing cream is used and reapplied throughout the process. Most clients can get through the procedure fairly comfortably, others may experience more sensation; by the end your eyes will be a bit sore and puffy. This is completely normal and will subside within 12-24 hours. You may do cool compresses afterwards.

What is the Healing Process?

The initial healing process for permanent eyeliner is about 5-7 days. Right after the procedure, the eyeliner will look very dark, wet and more bold in comparison to how it will soften throughout the healing process. Most clients do not experience crusting/ scabbing, it can happen and will exfoliate naturally within a few days. If this occurs, be patient as you may notice the colour seemingly disappearing, allow the ink to stabilize up to 6 weeks as it will come back week by week until the touch-up appointment where it can be easily darkened if desired.

What Styles are Available?

There are a few styles of eyeliner that can further be discussed during your complimentary consultation to best decide for your personal eye and face shape.

LashLine Enhancement - customized for each eye, colouring between the lash roots top to bottom, usually tapered in each corner. Very natural, tight-line look.

Classic Liner - completely customized for each set of eyes. Thicker than a lashline enhancement, and visible above the lashes. Ending in the corners with a sleek taper, wedge or 'flick'.

Winged Liner - can be as thick, thin, bold or as sleek as you desire. You can bring reference photos to your appointment for inspiration of the look you are aiming to achieve.

Stardust/ Smokey Liner - a customized soft ‘flick’ or winged eyeliner without solid thickness, but a shaded and ‘smokey’ finish.

- Dark or 'Cool' toned lip colours are not achievable for long term success.

- Not all lips will be considered good candidates for this treatment.

- If you are prone to cold sores (even if you have only had ONE in your life), anti-viral MUST be taken appropriately before and after the lip procedure in order to prevent an outbreak during the healing process.

How Long does it Last?

Lip tattooing will last anywhere from 2-5+ years before needing a colour boost. Every individual will experience fading at different rates. Over time you will find out how often you prefer to maintain your lip tattoo.

Is the Procedure Painful?

This procedure is considered more intense than eyebrow tattooing due to the thin and vascular tissue of the lips. A topical anesthetic containing 5% Lidocaine will be applied for a period of time as well as a secondary numbing agent for use throughout the procedure. Lips will be swollen for 24-72 hours. You may do cool compresses post procedure.

What is the Healing Process?

The initial healing phase for lips is 5-7 days for expected brightness, redness, and dry peeling skin. After this period, the lip colour fades and softens drastically into a more natural appearance depending on the style of the lip tattoo. During this time, you must follow all recommended aftercare instructions for best results. An initial touch-up appointment is booked 6-10 weeks afterwards to perfect your lip procedure and is included in the cost if booked within 120 days and cancellation policy is followed.
